More on kairos

Hejinian 5-6: "kairos [...] can mean time but also weather, wind, or even season; to be oton kairo ton is to be in season (or in [its] season). [...] Kairos is the moment that is opportune for some undertaking or action. Thus, for kairos to be recognizable, time, or temporal conditions, have to be interpenetrable"

"Its original meaning is 'due measure,' 'proportion,' 'what is vital,' which is then interpreted in a temporal sense to mean the critical time or opportunity to act"

23: "Kairos is the temporality of significant events, central experiences, the temporality of drama and narrative."
