In 2015, the TSA did even worse: Red Team agents were able to get weapons through the checkpoints, a failure rate of 96 percent. That same report also found that despite spending more than half a billion dollars in six years to buy the latest technology for screening checked luggage, the TSA had failed to make any improvements in that area, either"
